Call For Short Papers (1500 - 2000 words) - Submissions now closed. Thank you for all who contributed.
We are delighted to invite submissions to the inaugural Research Symposium of the Institute of AI Education, in partnership with York St John University, on Monday 29th June from 5pm - 7pm (online). This is a celebration of the rich, varied work happening across AI education, in classrooms, lecture halls, staffrooms and beyond.
We welcome contributions from active teachers, school leaders, lecturers and researchers at every stage of their career.
You do not need a publication history or a research background to submit, if you are doing something meaningful in AI education, your voice belongs here. Practitioner experience and academic research are equally valued and it is precisely that breadth of perspective that will make this symposium special.
How to submit your short paper:
1. Download the 3 page short paper template (1500 - 2000 words), below
2. Submit your completed paper as a PDF using the submission button below
3. Deadline: Monday 8th June 2026 at 6pm
All submissions will undergo a peer review process and authors will be informed of the outcome by Friday 12th June 2026.
Successful papers will be invited to present at the symposium as a focused 10 minute, 3 slide presentation followed by a short Q&A session.
If you have any questions about the submission process or the symposium, please don't hesitate to get in touch with Beth at beth@instituteofaieducation.com. We would love to hear from you
