Dr Beth Lane is a AI researcher and computer science educator who co-founded the AIE and several education initiatives, focused on empowering teachers and students to become active, ethical creators of AI technology.

Dr Beth Lane is a Computer Science educator and AI researcher with a background in medical AI. In addition to Co-Founding the AIE, she is the Founder of AI in Schools and Co-Founder of CS Re:Boot.
Beth's research and publications in AI and deep learning focus on translating complex computational ideas into meaningful learning experiences. Passionate about empowering teachers and students to move from passive users to active creators, Beth champions a vision where every learner can interrogate, innovate with and ethically shape the technologies defining their generation.
